While the stereotypical prepper that has seemed to emerge out of the public consciousness typically resembles some combination of Jesse Ventura and Ted Nugent, it is simply a fact of the matter that there are people from all walks of life that have adopted the prepper’s philosophy by believing that it is much better to be prepared in the event of a global catastrophe than it is to be completely caught off-guard.
There are many suburban homes populated by financial advisors or college professors that are also equipped to withstand any coming apocalypse. For whatever reason, there have been plenty of people who seem to have an agenda that paints the prepper community in an unforgiving light, as though preppers are nothing more than doomsday fanatics who are out of their minds.
This is certainly not true, as some of the sharpest of intellectuals share in the belief that prepping is a vital activity for the continued survival of the human race. There are doctors and lawyers who are also preppers, and there are plenty of people out there who are able to speak so many languages that they could work for All Language Alliance. These preppers will ultimately prove to be incredibly valuable members of the post-apocalyptic community in the event of a disaster.
